When someone loses their job, the process around them is legal, procedural and time-bound — and almost entirely opaque. People make decisions under stress without understanding what they just signed or what deadline they are inside of.

What we're building

Ontslagmaatje structures the situation: what is happening, which options exist, what the documents actually say, which timelines matter and what a sensible next step looks like — accessible, calm and available immediately.

Why now

AI can now read and explain employment documents reliably enough to give people real orientation, at a cost that makes it accessible to everyone rather than only to those who can afford early legal advice.
